The Producer

The “Cantine San Silvestro” is located in Novello, Piemonte. Today, after four generations, it is operated by cousins Paolo and Guido Sartirano. The Cantine produces leading Piemontese DOC and DOCG red wines. The grapes vinified by Cantine San Silvestro are mostly grown in the Langhe, and from vineyards located in the Roero and the Monferrato. In 1988, the family acquired the Tenuta Arnulfo Costa di Bussia estate, Monforte d’Alba. Further expansion in 2002 included vineyards in the villages of Barolo and Novello through their
acquisition of the Tenuta Ghercina estate.
