The Producer

In 1985 Adolfo de la Heras Marin started Bodegas Nodus through the purchase of land in the DO –Utiel Requena. While Bobal was the dominant grape being grown, the expansion of the winery, led by his son has expanded to over 10 grape varietals.

Today over 200 hectare of vines are grown, yielding over 650,000 bottles of wine. These vines aging from 15 – 55 years old produce excellent wine.

Tasting Notes

Full bodied and fruity with well-rounded tannins, great acidity and light vanilla notes with a touch of smokiness. A well balanced wine with a persistent finish. Great aromas of ripe fruits of the forest, strawberries and raspberries with a light vanilla taste and hints of licorice and spices.
