The Producer

The “Cantine San Silvestro” is located in the territory of the Commune of Novello, Piemonte. Today, after four generations, it is operated by cousins Paolo and Guido Satirano. The Cantine mainly produces leading Piedmontese DOC and DOCG red wines. The grapes vinified by Cantine San Silvestro are mostly grown in the Langhe, and from vineyards located in the Roero and the Monferrato. In 1988, the family acquired the Tenuta Arnulfo Costa di Bussia estate, Monforte d’Alba. Further expansion in 2002 includes vineyards in the villages of Barolo and Novello when they acquired the Tenuta Ghercina estate.
